DROWNING POOL: 'Enemy' Video Posted Online

October 2, 2007

DROWNING POOL's video for the song "Enemy", which features animated versions of the band rocking out to the song, can be viewed at MetalHammer.co.uk.

"Enemy" is the second video off DROWNING POOL's new CD, "Full Circle", which has sold 29,000 copies in the United States since its early August release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album was produced by longtime friend Ben Schigel (CHIMAIRA, WALLS OF JERICHO),and features a collaboration track with MÖTLEY CRÜE's Nikki Sixx and BEAUTIFUL CREATURES' DJ Ashba.

DROWNING POOL recently extended its current "This Is For The Soldiers" tour, with the newly announced shows ending on November 8 in New York City. THE EXIES will appear on the bill as well. As previously reported, 50 cents of each ticket sale from the jaunt is going to the non-profit organization Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA),with another 50 cents going to the USO. DROWNING POOL is using the tour, as well as its new single "Soldiers", to draw attention to the crisis facing U.S. troops returning home from duty in the Middle East to inadequate health care.

The Texas-based band is campaigning to urge Congress to expand mental health care for returning troops and has launched a web site and petition about the issue at ThisIsForTheSoldiers.org.
